Our Wedding

Ciao! I've been wanting to do a wedding blog for months now but haven't been able to find the time. I finally have one night to myself, so I thought I'd indulge my creativity. My husband and I were engaged for about two and a half (long, long) years before we finally tied the knot on June 29, 2012. It's hard to even comprehend how much blood, sweat, and tears--I mean, love--goes into planning a wedding for 120 of your closest family and friends. I'm very happy with the way everything turned out, and I take delight in looking at my wedding pictures (a bit obsessively) and enjoying all of those little details that I spent years planning! This blog is a selective spread of photos accompanied by vendor information and a few anecdotal details; it's a celebration of my dashing husband, our large Italian family, our wonderful friends, and of all things red.

All of these stunning photos are courtesy of Victoria Sprung Photography.

Vera Wang Princess has been my favorite scent since its release.

Maria Sharapova bejeweled flats. Nike Air technology means very comfortable dancing shoes.

I asked the coordinator to "lightly" sprinkle the diamonds across the table. . . . Nevertheless, they are pretty centerpieces. Floating orchids from Walden Floral Design Co.

Chicken Marsala. We also served handmade rigatoni alla vodka as the salad course.
